The AnnuiCare®
5 annuity is a Single Premium Annuity that features a base interest
rate and a first-year interest rate bonus, and qualified long-term care
insurance benefits up to triple the annuity value. The AnnuiCare®
5 Annuity has a minimum interest rate of 3.0% for the lifetime of the
policy. Additional premium may be added to provide LTC inflation benefits
in future years. Premiums for long-term care coverage are paid by automatic
monthly withdrawals from the annuity. Effective January 1, 2010, withdrawals
for premiums and benefits are not taxable. More information is available
